All dates will be hosted in the Northlore workshop at 75 Albert Street, Winnipeg. All supplies are included.

Aradia and the Lemon Charm

According to Italian folklore, Aradia, daughter of the goddess Diana, was sent to Earth to teach the peasant classes magic in order to fight their oppressors. In this class we will learn Aradia’s story and create a lemon charm, a tool for empowerment, protection and prosperity.
Witch’s Black Salt

Black salt is an essential go-to tool in any witch’s toolbox. This ingredient is commonly used in spells or magic for protection, purification, and repelling unwanted energy.In this hands-on class we work step-by-step through the making process and participants will each take home a jar of this magical salt.
Candles for Magic

Working with candles for magic and spellcasting is one of the most practical and versatile forms of witchcraft. This class will explore a few techniques for doing this and participants will each create a spell candle to take home.
About Dodie...
Dodie Graham McKay is a writer, green witch, and filmmaker. She is inspired to document and share stories that capture the beauty of nature and the visible and invisible realms of magic and witchcraft.
She is the author of the books Earth Magic: The Elements of Witchcraft and A Witch’s Ally: Building a Magical Relationship with Animal Familiars & Companions, and her documentary films include The WinniPagans, Starry Nights and the Fibe TV 4-part series Exploring the Sacred.
