tallow is rich in enzymes to soothe skin sensitivities and provide a harder, long-lasting bar

coconut oil creates a rich + hydrating lather

peppermint + rose essential oils offer a luxurious and invigorating scent

Cold-process soap making is safe for the environment, won't strip your skin's natural oils like commercial soap does, and offers incredible moisturizing properties.

We repurpose organic, grass-fed tallow as a sustainable alternative to palm oil, a common soap ingredient that is destroying rainforest habitat and species at an alarming rate.

INGREDIENTS

Handmade in small batches from; Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, tallow, pure olive oil, water, sodium hydroxide (lye), *beeswax, natural blend Aniba rosaeodoro (rosewood) essential oil, Mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf essential oil.

The Perfect Soap

This Christmas I ordered a bunch of Rosehip & Mint Soap and Bath Cubes to be sent by mail. When I picked up my parcel at the post office, the line was long, grouchy, and tense; one lone employee staffed the desk next to a sign that said "Please bear with us, our manager quit". When I finally made my way to the front of the line and showed my pick-up slip, the employee grabbed the box from the back, closed her eyes and smelled the box before handing it to me with a smile and a very sincere "Thank you for ordering whatever is in this.box". Clearly Northlore soap is a miracle of stress relief even before it's unwrapped.*

*Of course then you unwrap it and the soap is just heaven for refreshing and cleaning your skin. It's a multifaceted gift, really that I will buy again and again and again.
